Director of Aviation Operations

The Director of Aviation Operations must demonstrate the ability to lead and manage all assigned field service representatives. The Director of Aviation Operations must possess the ability to train and certify personnel on all operations and system capabilities.

  • Communications

  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Submission of Daily SITREP’s, accident reports and logistics to the Program Managers and the Supervisors.

  • Respond to all inquiries from PAEISR Management.

  • Responsible for answering the questions of the client and subordinates.

  • Training

  • Training curriculum development and implementation for both operators and maintenance personnel.

  • Oversee all qualification, currency, and proficiency requirements for field operations personnel.

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and updating of all checklists and manuals for field operations and maintenance.

  • Aviation Safety

  • Have a detailed knowledge of, and experience with aviation risk management

  • Have a working knowledge of aviation mishap plans, accident investigation, and root cause analysis.

  • Develop and foster a culture of procedural compliance, risk management, and safety in all maintenance and operations activities

  • Deployed Operations Support

  • Responsible for deployment team assignments and pre-deployment readiness assessments

  • Responsible for ensuring that all required documentation, logistics, and training is scheduled to meet deployment timelines

  • Act as the main point of contact for all deployed personnel and their families to address personal concerns should they arise.

  • Maintain Resolute Eagle Site deployment sets in preparation for sale or deployment

  • Operations

  • Responsible for coordinating test and development requirements with Engineering to ensure mission success.

  • Coordinate with Engineering for development and implementation of a test plan, test cards, and data collection requirements for each test event.

  • Assemble, train, and oversee the Resolute Eagle demonstration team. They will be the primary team that prepares and flies demonstration flights for any potential customers. Responsibilities include CONOPS development, OV-1 creation, site preparation, aircraft readiness, and the professional execution of all demonstration requirements.
